MMU Techtime DOTA : The Aftermath

LATEST UPDATE :

UCPRO WON THE MMU DOTA TECHTIME 2009 TOURNAMENT
BEATING TEAM IRX IN THE FINALS.. CONGRATULATIONS... !

P/S IRX.DHARVIN FKING NOOB ~ PUCK/ZUES NC FARMER ! LOL

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I took part in last weekends Dota Tournament organized by Techtime MMU at Dataran Pahlawan, the most happening shopping mall so far in Malacca. The tournament this time had more slots, 32 to be exact but i think the turnout were less than 32. The main prize money wasn't much, only RM500 for first place even though the entry free was RM50 but that didn't stop team UCPRO from joining.

Among the top teams there were of course UCPRO, and IRELAX team whose leader was no other than the notorious Asia no.8 Flizzardo @ Fitri. Another Asia No.8, Iceman and also Kingsuft's ( KS ) very own Sakura were also in their own team, F5 with another Sifu of mine Sarawak Champion's Wei Long.

TEAM .wZy

Ok, back to me. My team registered under the name we previously used for the tournaments before, team .wZy whose lineup are made up from Bryan, L.C.K, Kannan, Dona and myself. Our team was one of the 2 teams which had a female player. We never expected much from this tournament. We joined it just for fun and experience. We also know we are like the ultimate underdogs as we haven't been to much tournaments. Oh yea the name was given by our very own team manager, Ms Syazzy just because .wzy which sounds wuzzy ryhmes with her 1st name. I would like to also thank our official driver Mr. Krishna and his friend/scandal Ms. Vicky.

SYAZZY - TEAM MANAGER

BRYAN

L.C.K.

KANNAN

DONA

ADRIAN / ADRIXTACY

KRISHNA & VICKY

OPPOSITE US WERE TEAM AREA 51

We were lucking during the draw lots because we were not drawn into the same bracket with those high seed teams. In the 1st round we had to face team Area51. In that first game, we did not know what to expect. We even found out one of our friends, Andrew was in the opposite team. Bryan drafted the game for us, as he has the the most experience drafting with Flizzardo @ Fitri before.

I played Skeleton King, and guess what, i died first giving them 1st Blood ! Through out the game, our gankers did their job well and i just continued farming. and guess what, in the end we won that game and qualified to the next round. ! It was a good feeling and everybody did their job well.

ANDREW WHINING ABOUT THE GAME AND ACCUSING US OF MAPHACKING .. LOL JK

Then while waiting for our next game, we went around DP, go walk-walk around, find something light to eat and started cam-whoring a little.

WE IS WINNNARR ~

Then, our second match started. This time we would be facing team R2M. This was their first game because they auto-qualified the first round. This was the other only team beside ours who had a female player too. Bryan again drafted this game and i was again drafted to play a strength-farmer hero, Lycanthrope. This game was a little more harder and again we gave them first blood. It was Bryan this time.

TEAM R2M, THE ONLY OTHER TEAM WHICH A GIRL IN IT... WOOT ~

BRYAN'S DRAFTING

The outcome of the game? ... We owned of course ! They were so crippled and Naix who was played by Dona and Lycan the hero i played were fat.You wanna hear the most imba part ? I didn't die through out the whole game and i got wicked sick pawning poor Mirana at his fountain! Too bad the game ended before i could go Beyond Godlike. LOL

SECOND GAME VICTORIES ~

THIS POSE WITH MY FINGERS SHOWING A "W" IS DEDICATED TO MY WICKED SICK STREAK

So there we were, winning our second match, and we were off to the quarter-finals ! It was late evening and we felt hungry but it was raining heavily outside, so we decided to find somewhere around here to eat plus we only had an hour to the next game.

WE WERE LIFTED OFF THE EARTH TO CLOUD 9 AFTER 2 AWESOME OWNAGE

We finally found this shop outside Dataran Pahlawan, near Taro and since we didnt have much of a choice we ate there. The maggie goreng was unbelievably cheap. Only Rm3 for a plate of maggie goreng, 2 sausages and an egg, i mean its Dataran Pahlawan u know, i expected it to be around RM5. Even back in Bukit Beruang, near MMU and my apartment, you can't get all that for the price of Rm3 !

SYAZZY LOVES SAUSAGES..

Then it was 7pm and we got a call so we headed off back to the tournament venue which was in the middle of Dataran Pahlawan for our third match, the quarter-finals, and if we won this, we would be off to the semi finals not forgetting securing the prize money of RM100. We were feeling confident, a bit too confident i would say after those 2 earlier ass-whooping matches. This round we were to face team Forgotten. What a lame team name.

TEAM FORGOTTEN.. CHECK OUT THAT GUYS "COOL" HAIRSTYLE ... LOL

This time we didn't use the strategy we always used to train with. I really don't know what happened as i wasn't the drafter. Bryan drafted himself to become a farmer this time, Rikimaru and make made Dona who was usually the farmer to become a tanker/gank hero, Tidehunder. Well the problem here is our team's players have limited versatility. While most of us can play farmer and not all of us know how to lead ganks, because usually Bryan was the one commanding us plus Dona can't really play any other type of hero except for late game heroes because she usually only plays farmer and then there were bigger problem with the drafting. We didn't ban Sladar which was Anti - Rikimaru and we weren't prepared to face the Visage-Naix hero. Visage was just too imba not forgetting its ulti which was a free ward for the opponent that gave us a very hard time to gank them. Ultimately, we failed to kill them and cripple them. Even though Riki was fat, they were even fatter.
We lost the match badly. I guess we deserved it because we were kinda already too over confident from the wipe-out we did on the 2 earlier games plus the whole new strategy change proved to be a huge mistake.

MANAGER PISSED !~

I was very-very disappointed because i knew i gave more than a 100% for all those games. Heck these days i give a 100% too all my Dota games, and yea people say i emo this and that but come on how are u going to improve if you keep on playing around? How are u going to improve if you just train for one specific type of hero ? Gosh, i wish i had talk about my studies like this ! I guess team .wZy has a lot more training and catching up to do and i guess we all learned from our mistakes and if there's going to be another tournament anytime soon, i'm sure we're gonna kick some ass and i do hope we get to play with team Forgotten again. It's gonna take sometime to forget the team that kicked you out, on the way to your semi-finals and ironicly their team name is Forgotten. Revenge shall prevail. No worries though, my Sifu Flizzardo @ Fitri will be meeting them in the semi-finals later and i'm sure he is gonna make them cry. I'll be there to watch their faces. Muahhahahhah.. and finally they can live up to their name and be forgotten. Such a sore loser i am right? haha...

"COOL" HAIR GUY SO HAPPY, NOW HE SHOWS HIS "COOL" FACIAL EXPRESSION ~

While waiting for our official .wZy driver to come fetch us, all of us were emo-ing at Dataran Pahlawan then our dear manager Syazzy came up with an idea to cam-whore to cheer us up and i guess it did help a little.. hehe here are some pictures :

WE WERE BROUGHT BACK DOWN TO EARTH, TO REALITY

KANNAN WAS SO FRUSTRATED, NOT SO AFTER THIS PICTURE ..

Oh well, i guess that's about it, we got the experience and i guess that's good enough. I'm going to church later and after that i'll drop by Dataran Pahlawan for the semi-finals and finals of the tournament and i'll keep you guys updated on the results. My bets are still on Flizzardo @ Fitri who's gonna face team Forgotten in the semi finals, kick their asses and then most probably meet UCPRO in the finals. Good Luck Fit !~

For latest update you can also visit UCPRO's website for the latest brackets and live results :

Forgotten? I surely want to forget this picture alright .... !

THE SAME EXPRESSION I MIGHT SEE LATER WHEN FITRI @ FLIZZARDO OF IRX PAWNS HIM

National Service : Stories You Never Heard Before

Sorry for the super late update. I've been really busy and ran out of ideas as I've been doing nothing much here in Malacca but since i mentioned about my National Service stint on my previous post i would like to share my experience in NS.F

Warning :
Real Supernatural Happenings & A Gay Scandal Story Ahead.

Well not exactly a soldier but i was selected 2 years back to join the National Service ( NS ) and although it was a long time ago, i never did write a post about it so, here it goes... I got the offer letter for NS, few more months before my SPM examination. Like any other person who got this offer, it was disappointing because this 3 months surely could be put to better use rather than wasting it on some stupid military training i thought to my self.

SPM passed, Christmas and then New Year's Eve which sucked because i was supposed to leave for NS on the 1st of January, New Years Day ! What a great start to that year i thought to myself sarcastically. My parents then drop me of to my camp which was Kem Syruz, Bukit Mertajam and the nightmare started. The next day, they called us up and we all got our heads shaven bald ! It did feel good once i came out of the barber room because i could feel the slightest breeze on my head but it was horror the moment i looked into the mirror !

First few weeks there was hell i can say, adapting to the environment and their strict everyday routine, thinking to myself what the hell was i doing here in the first place. I should have just ditch this training in excuse with some stupid reasons like some of my friends did. I was drafted into the Alpha ( red house ). We got to create our own logo and motto.

There was 4 houses, company or whatever you like to call it. There was also the Bravo - Blue, Charlie - Yellow, & Delta - Green. The Charlie and Delta house was famous to always be the trouble makers every year and no doubt, that year, this 2 houses did cause a lot of problems and fights.

Everyday we had to wake up around 6 because the bathrooms at each company's dorm was limited and we wouldn't wanna arrive late at the morning exercise/assembly because if we were late, we would get punished in front of the entire camp. We was supposed to gather at the marching grounds at 7am for morning exercises and singing the national anthems. Miracles happened here as you would be able to see dozen of trainees sleeping while standing up straight. Some didn't make it and eventually fell down after losing balance.

Weeks past by and we were all getting used to this routine, it wasn't like we had any other choice. We also started bonding with each other, making new best friends and also enemies. It's funny how close we all came, after all we spend most of our time with each other from waking each other up for morning assembly and exercise to washing our clothes and partying all nite long before our instructors woke up from sleep and started punishing us. Some of my closest friends there were Adam who was from my secondary school, Jovan ,Vincent and not forgetting Bonzer Justin.

Yea you heard it right, as u can see the picture above, on top of my locker was an old pair of speaker but it was loud enough to transform the whole place into a club when the lights go off at night using our mp3 players and flash lights as our special effect disco lights !

I've also happened to have a cute little bug as a pet which i called err... it was 2 years back so i kinda forgot. Here's its pic:

Ok well i was joking, the real picture is below. It's a caterpillar i found and rare for a few weeks which i so wanted to see turn into a beautiful butterfly. Looking at the pictures make me remember what i called it ; Cate'py ! pronounced Ca-the-pi. Sadly it looked like it was dying so i released it into the bushes. I think it died tho, sad story haihzz..

There was this one time, we the non-Malays wanted to wear the Baju Melayu to one of the activities classes at night so we borrowed them from our Malay friends. I think we all looked pretty funny. Even the girls did it, but sadly i don't have much pictures of the girls. Here are some pictures of us looking our best in Baju Melayu for the first time !

I'm sure all of you love ghost stories and what is NS without a little encounter with the supernatural. I never experienced anything from the other side before, not until those 3 months there. Kem Syruz has this huge lake which was said to be the dumping place for Jins and other "Makhluk" caught by bomohs around that area before Kem Syruz was build around it. Therefore, we were warned to avoid certain areas and not take anything which looked suspicious. There were several sightings of "things" by our camp. I only saw one incident from a far which looked like a moving black object on a tree. It was during my turn on night patrol. Every night we rotate turned and assign people to take care of the surrounding of our dorms. Its a military training thing just in case any enemy invades our base but i think in this case we were more into making sure no hanky panky was going on between the girls and guys at night. So that very night, suddenly someone saw this "thing" on the tree. It was dark like a shadow and had long hair. At first glance your would just think its a branch then if u looked longer it looked something like this

Haha.. kidding, i couldn't help it but seriously there was something on that tree that night and later when we told our instructors he asked us to ignore it and just a day before they said they saw something crash into the lake which was near that tree and it could have something to do with that "thing" we saw on the tree. The scariest experience of mine was yet to come ! During the 3rd month, we had our final test, the survival in the jungle. It was called Wirajaya and we were forced to stay in tents, cook our own food, even make our own toilets for a few nights. Imagine digging a deep hole and having a few hundreds of guys shitting in the same hole. Luckily i didn't have stomach ache those few days in the jungle. It was scary enough having to walk deep inside some bushy area where the toilet was made. Here are a few pictures from the Wirajaya expedition.

Now it was during this time that all the disturbing things started to really get to us trainee. The first attack was that the first night during this Wirajaya in the jungle, from what i heard from my girls friends, apparently that night while the girls were setting up their tents,

One of the girls, found this nail embed into one of the trees there and there was also a bunch of hair which was nailed to the tree. Obviously she forgot the briefing from our instructors that we should not touch or take back anything unusual and a hair nailed to a tree wasn't something you see everyday don't you? That girl took off that nail off the tree so that she could use it to set her tent up.

It was said that the bomoh ( witch doctors ) would exorcise people who got possessed and bring out that "spirit" out of the victims body by trapping it in their hair then cutting it off. The bomoh would then nail that bunch of hair to a tree to trap that "thing". From what i understand, that girl trainee has just released that spirit or what ever you call it. That night, a few girls got disturb, when they were sleeping, or when they went to the man made toilet, they were grab by something they cannot see. But it never didn't end there, 1 or 2 or more girls were having that time of the month and they stupidly threw away their dirty blooded pads in the jungle and if you guys didn't know, this "things" are attracted to dirty blood, so after the Wirajaya expedition in the jungle finished, we weren't as safe as we thought we were in our Camp's Base.

One night around 5 girls got crazily possesed and i swear they looked like a whole different person. They were going crazy shouting and screaming and a bomoh, the first i ever saw was called to the Camp Base to exorcise her. It took 3 huge guys to hold down one girl. This was was strong they become as something has entered their body. This were those girls who pull out that nail and left their dirty pads back in the jungle. One of the girls even ran across the lake wanting to go back to the jungle as if something was calling her to go back there. It was bloody scary i tell you. The bomoh that came was a lady and she was there for hours soon the next day those girls were sent back. Then a few weeks later, another guy got possessed this guy was the softest guy during my National Service, oh well to be direct, his gay. He introduced himself to all of us by the name of Mary. lol, When he got possessed it was even scarier, because it happened in my dorm and he was totally a different person. He was always soft and his voice was, like a sissy, but that night when he started screaming and yelling, his voice turned manly and his eyes totally changed everyone noticed. When one of the instructors with a little bomoh skills came to get the thing out of him, he asked the thing for forgiveness if anyone had disturb that spirit and ask that thing to leave immediately. Mary replied with a much manlier voice, asking us to leave him alone but we all knew it wasn't Mary who was talking. The instructor put some pepper and i think bawang putih ( garlic ) or something on the guys feet and he was screaming in pain. It was scary because the thing inside of him was talking and was refusing to leave. The thing could even lie and said its gone, once it he said he needed to go to the toilet but it actually wanted to bring that guy somewhere, finally after hours, the thing finally left. Later the next day, he related his experience on what happened, he said he was on his back from from the toilet to the dorm when suddenly everything around him was smoky and he saw three figures which i don't feel like describing here. They took him to another place he can't remember. The next thing he remembered was when he was on the bed in the room when he was being exorcised. He couldn't take control of his body but did mentioned he saw those things sitting on a few of our lockers and watching him from afar. That creeped the jeeps outta us because it was our lockers !

He was also crying. I guess he got possessed because he is a weak person, and not a clean one. He's gay and during that three months there, we caught him numerous times in the bathroom/toilet with another guy and i don't wanna explain the details here too. There weren't any other gay, only few other desperate !@#$ed up guys who want to get satisfied. They even forced him to perform oral sexs at times from what i saw. Totally sick ! I didn't believe it myself when i first heard it then one night i saw it happened in the bathing area. A few guys were waiting for their turn to get into the toilet cubicle to get their share of oral sex. What has this world come to !

This part is gonna be a little funny : Then sports day came, i was never so fit to take part in any sports competition before, that day i represented my team Alpha for the kayaking competitions and surprisingly i was quiet good in it, one of the fastest, and obviously fastest in my team. One team has 5 who took turns to get in and kayak up and down the lake.

So we beat all the teams, well actually i single handedly took my team to the finals because i was the last person to kayak and someone i would always manage to catch up and and bypass the other teams in the end because the kayakers who went before me sucked. Then at the finals during the last lap, our kayak was delayed because the people handling the kayak in our water were the same company, Charlie as the other finalist, we lost by a few seconds. They cheated !

We were pissed especially myself and demand a rematch, we had to pay for it but team Charlie refused but in the end there was a rematch. this time i went to kayak 1st to give my team a lead but you know what happened?

When i was supposed to make a U-Turn at the end of the line on the lake, a strong wind came and i lost balance and topple into the water and the other team won by default. I felt like shit. My teammates didn't even have the chance to go in because it was done i lost and i was in the water. I didn't give a damn if there was a crocodile in it i so wanted to get back unto the kayak but it was impossible. Finally a so called rescue boat came and took me. Man i just embarrassed myself in front hundreds of people in the camp but i sat there on the boat while it was bringing me to shore with my chins up and guess what, i was given loud cheer and applause. I guess they felt pity for me or something but i felt like a winner anyways because i got to sit on that motor-boat and wave to them while they applauded me ! lol

There were also camwhorring sessions in National Service :

There were also a few fight in my camp especially on the last night there when one of the people i hate the most there got beat up really bad. There were also several wrestling matches going on. Here's one of the videos from my dorm. Not one of the more serious fights that happened that but just one that was caught on camera. At the end of the video you get to see them getting punished by the instructor.

At the end of our training in the last month, they had this really grand dinner and performance and all. I played the guitar for the whole group who sang in the choir. It was an awesome and touching night as we all know its coming to an end. We started hating this stupid training to wishing we had more time. The bond we made was so strong, we became like a big ass family there. Even the most hated instructor, who was the discipline guy, became everyones favorite. That night he dressed up as a girl for some funny skits. Here are a few pictures from the last week there in National Service.

Well what the former trainees said about wishing their stint was much more longer at NS was true after all. Those three months there were too short. We had the times of our lives which we would cherish forever and ever ! It's a one of a kind rare experience you should never miss even with all the bad news going around about it, maybe some camp's management are bad but some are really enjoyable. So if you are one of those chosen ones don't think twice just go and for those who missed out on it boo on you and to end my post i would like to show u some farny pics!

Confessions Of An Addict

Sorry for the super late update. I've been really busy, since i came back to Malacca last Saturday. I didn't do anything interesting so far but we did have another BBQ + Booze party again last Monday night and this time we had much much more beer ! Sadly, i haven't yet received the pictures but i assure you they will be uploaded soon.

On another note, i have realized that during the past 3 weeks at Penang i have put on a lot of weight, and not just put on but i look a lot more fatter ! sighhh.. So i promised to my self that this semester, i would work myself out and lose all that fat and try to be as fit as i was in National Service..

I cant give any excuse to not exercise because i am not taking many subjects this semester so i will have ample of free time. I will update my progress in this blog soon, maybe with some embarrassing pictures so we all could see the before and after if it really did work out !

Meanwhile Dota-ing in Malacca is back to usual, and i think all of us got alot better after 2 years of playing. Most of us here only started to Dota when we came to MMU as we were influenced by our other friends who were already playing this game. Hmmm since i got nothing to blog about maybe i should just write about my how i was addicted to this Warcraft game. This are my confessions of being a Dota Addict ! What you all thought la.. sorry i don't do drugs ! lol

I never knew what was dota since i went for NS ( National Service ). At NS, some of my friends there who were gamers often talked a lot about Dota and i have no idea what it is. One day they asked me did i play, not wanting to be left out i said i did, although i knew shit about it so when they talk talk talk about it all i did was hear and i tried to not say anything at all then one of them asked me what level u usually was able to reach in this game and then i made a fool outta my self. Thinking that this was one of this continuing games where it takes a long long time like days for you to level i just randomly said i don't play much, i think I'm still around level 5 ! OMG thinking back at my answer now, what an ass did i make outta my self ! Level 5 ? that level doesn't even allow u to have your ultimate yet! Now i know what they were thinking by they expression of their face when i said Level 5.. What a NOOOB !

DURING NATIONAL SERVICE JUNGLE SURVIVAL

Then after NS, i didn't have much time to play games as i wanted to find a job and i got one at Manhattan Fish Market. You can read my post on my 1st working experience at my old blog. That post was also recognized by the people in the MFM headquarters because they sent a e-mail to my boss which he showed me complimenting his worker on that write out. :D

LINK : http://adrix.blogspot.com/2007/05/my-first-working-experience-manhattan_08.html

ME AND MY AWESOME MANAGER WHO PLAYS DOTA, ANDREW IN BLACK

So at MFM, my new friends who's working there also talked about Dota ! and i would follow them once in a while to the Cyber Cafe after work to play. I was so pissed at this game because i never found the real goal of playing this game. Whenever i picked a hero, i would also look for the range because a non-dota player would think that the further the range, the better the chances of you surviving right ? So every time when we play i would end up taking Goblin Techies because it has the longest range in Dota and i didn't know that's one~!@#$% up hero to use for a beginner ! I always left because i didn't know shit and eventually i gave up.

Then MMU came and my two best friends then, the so called Muhibbah Brotherhood, Faiz and Justin were Dota players and they really got me into liking the game. My first hero which i could really play with was Zues. They would teach me to play and buy what item.

JUSTIN FAIZ ADRIAN ( BOTH OF THEM CHANGE UNI ALREADY

Then i meet more pros then, Mr Sarawak Champion, Wei Long who is really the one who taught me a lot the most actually. He was like my Sifu and i asked him every single thing. Good think he had patients because usually a pro player won't have patients and start shouting at the Noob. Sounds like someone these days...Sorry guys but i was also scolded during Dota games when i just started playing but thats what improved me, so for those who i shout at, don't take it personally, it's only for your own good oh and statistics shows i tend to get emo very fast.

KANNAN AND MYSELF DURING EARLIER DAYS @ INFINITY

Some might think Dota is a guys game but there are also a few girls who in my group who play. Dona, my friend who started to play dota around the same time with me is the first girl who played Dota among our group then came Caroline and recently Syazzy also got addicted to this game who she used to hate so much and not forgetting Mr Sarawak Champion's girl, Caryn also plays and pawns !

Only recently, the past 2 semesters we started to learn and play draft games a.k.a. CM mode. This is also when we started to play with more pro players because we changed our usually Cyber Cafe from Infinity to iRelax.iRelax has way better PCs and alot more better players. We also formed our first team, team .Wzy whose members are made up of Bryan, Dona, Kannan, Alex & myself. Syazzy's our spokesperson ! We missed out on the MMU closed tournament because of some registration complications but we aced the Emerald Park LAN PARTY TOURNEY went to the finals and won the competition in big fashion.

FITRI @ FLIZZARDO ( WHITE SHIRT HOLDING MOCK CHEQUE )

This post wouldn't be complete if i don't mention another Great Lansi Sifu name Fitri a.k.a Flizzardo ! This guy is a freak, i dunno how he is so damn good in Dota. He also recently got 8th place in Asia after the SMM tournament. Join his team sure sure win one la.. no matter who's in that team. He is the one who taught us to play draft and enhance our Dota skills on a whole new level and his always the one who also force us to buy chicken ( Dota courier ) for him. Anyway the guy is already in MMU Cyberjaya Campus now, so its our time to shine here in Malacca. After 2 years of hardcore Dota-ing here in Malacca i wouldn't say we're Pro yet but i say we have improved hell of a lot ! Go Go team .wZy !!!

Wedding At The Land Below The Wind

Recently, around the end of last year, my family and i were invited to the wedding of my cousin, Marsha, who's hometown is in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. She got married to Luis Unda Garcia if I'm not mistaken of his full name, who is from Chile. This is the video of their civil wedding before they came back to Malaysia :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbRKa0xg7xc&feature=related

They both met when Marsha was studying abroad. Marsha is the daughter of my mom's second eldest sister Aunty Lorna and Uncle Allan. Marsha also had another older sister, Nessa who's gonna get married soon this year.

This was our first visit to Sabah as all these years Marsha's family would come across to visit us for Christmas or any other family occasion as the rest of our relatives are here in West Malaysia. We traveled across there using the AirAsia because we're die heart ManUtd supporters ! haha

The flight was OK, but i was not used to the seats. They were rather congested and the seat wasn't that comfortable maybe because I'm too used to those big bus seats i sit on 8 hours+ every time i travel from Penang - Malacca or vice verse. The flight took around 25 minutes only i think and as soon as we landed in Kota Kinabalu, my mom's brother in law a.k.a my Uncle Allan picked us up from the airport and took us to his house. We lepak - lepak there a while, meet up with the rest of their family, waited for the rest of my relatives from West Malaysia to arrive and then had lunch and everything.

AT UNCLE ALLAN'S PLACE

After that we went to our apartment nearby which we shared among 2 of the relatives from West Malaysia; my mom's eldest sister family and her brother's family.

TOP : ALEX ( AARON DIDN'T MAKE IT BECAUSE OF SPM ) , UNCLE CECIL , ME
BTM : AUNTY GIRLIE ( MOM'S ELDEST SISTER ) , AUNTY ANN (MOM'S SISTER IN LAW)

BTM : MOM, AUNTY GIRLIE, AUNTY ANN, SISTER

Few nights there we went over to Uncle Allan's house everyday and they had lotsa foods there. BBQ, catered food and alcohol every night up to the wedding day. I'll just skip that part and go straight to the wedding.

AT CHURCH MASS

The wedding was held at a Catholic church because Luis was Catholic although my cousin's family is an Anglican. My mom and her family was brought up as an Anglican but then she got baptist to a Catholic when she got married to my dad. Luis brought most of he' family over even his grandmother came all the way from Chile to witness his wedding. Stay tuned later at the reception part to see videos of two 80+ year old people dancing like their only 16 ! LOL

THE RECEPTION : COCKTAIL LOUNGE

The reception was held at a hotel by the beach. I can't really remember what was the hotel name but it sounded something like Golden Sands Beach Hotel or something like that. The chief minister of Sabah who is a close friend with Uncle Allan also attented the wedding. While we were on the way there, we managed to get a beautiful view of the sunset from the hotel beach.

While waiting for all the guest to arrive, we were ushered into the cocktail lounge where they served red and white wain before entering the ballroom. There we took a few pictures and here they are :

THE RECEPTION : DANCE

It's on tradition that the Bride and Brides groom would have the first dance at any Wedding Ball but...

.. it doesn't stop there ! even my 80++ year old grandpa wanted to join in the action and he was dancing like there was no tomorrow and his dance partner was no other then Luis' grandmother! My grandpa was always an active guy. He likes to stay fit and healthy so I'm not surprised with some of the moves he put on show but then again i am surprised ! Believe it or not they were the last remaining couple on the dance floor that night. The never showed any signs of slowing down ! There's a video provided below of them in action, do check it out ! haha

GRANPA : HEY ! I WANNA DANCE TOO !

The Big Wheel on Malacca

Have you guys heard of the Eye On Malaysia ? The biggest Ferris wheel in Malaysia is now in Malacca, and I've been on it! The Eye On Malaysia was a 60 meter tall portable Ferris wheel previously installed at Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and now its relocated to Malacca.

My friends and i went out to have dinner and on the way back we passed the site and decided we might as well go for it since its not everyday you have the opportunity to ride the biggest Ferris wheel in Malaysia. It was the 7 of us which includes Syazzy, Byran, Fitri a.k.a Flizzardo who drove us, Dona, Kannan, Alex & myself.

They ride was not bad but actually kind of boring. Well what I'm trying to say is it did really take us high up in the air and we say most of Malacca Town but not anyway further than that, not even our twin towers of Ixora at Bukit Beruang, Ayer Keroh. ( Should we be seeing the whole Malaysia since its called Eye On Malaysia ? )

Another reason why the ride was boring is because it felt too safe, well for the most of us, except Fitri who was terrified ! I would definitely prefer something much more thrilling and exciting than that revolving slow wheel.

Syazzy & Bryan all bored inside the gondola.

Goofy Bryan & Me .. LOL

Each gondola of that wheel was so secure and it was air-conditioned ! I couldn't even jump out if i wanted to and it didn't swing much too as we we're jumping up and down in it. Here's the officially site for the Eye On Malaysia - http://www.eyeonmalaysia.com.my/

Here are a few more pictures we took ...

Welcome Back...

Hello there..

Im finally rajin enough to start my blog again ! Hopefully bigger & better this time. So I hope you guys would support me and please do come back for more. Oh yea and one more thing ...

~ Adrixtacy is Twenty ! ~

Yes i am unstoppable !!! they said i could get Godlike next year ! lol

Haha yea i'm so old ! I was in Malacca during my birthday as my examinations just finish that time so i celebrated this year's birthday with my MMU friends. BTW most of them are DotA freaks ! The cake was bought by Syazzy Wuzzy ! Thank You so much... I love it ! Mwax !

The celebration wasn't so big. First, Fitri took us to The Jetty because they wanted to karaoke and go to the new club, Arena but then the place was full so we lepak-lepak there for a while, then we wanted to check out the new club there, Arena but later on we decided to go to our usually clubbing place, Pure Bar.

Syazzy posing at The Jetty. Thats the new club Arena at the background !

Unfortunately, we didn't have any pictures from the club because everyone was too busy either dancing or drinking. We had a great time there, it was kinda crazy, and Syazzy even told Sheldon, The Pure Bar DJ to announce my birthday and he did, for more than 3 times until which it got a little annoying! Haha kidding. After pure, they took me to Bryan's house and had a surprise little BBQ for me there . Thank You Guys For The Whole Thing ! Here are a few pictures. Again we didn't take much pictures because the bloody fire was so hard to start !

Clockwise from top : Eric, Fitri, Dona, Bryan, Me, Syazzy.
